UPMC - Hampton Ambulatory Center

The building includes tinted glass that changes the look and reflection from day to night, aluminum storefront glazing, wood ceilings, curtainwall for natural light, phenolic stone finishes, and glass stair tower.

IKM designed the building with no lateral bracing in order to decrease obstructed interior and exterior views and open the space.

Attempting Silver LEED certification, the medical office building (MOB) project consists of three stories constructed of steel framing and masonry walls atop of a reinforced concrete basement.
The building consists of more than 35 exam rooms, blood drawstations, a bariatrics unit, ultrasound rooms, and labs.

The building is conveniently located next to a senior care facility.
