Conemaugh D Building
After completing several successful projects for Duke Lifepoint, Massaro was awarded the addition and renovation project for Conemaugh Health System, D-Building Addition and Renovation. The project consist of a new five-story addition that will house clinical components including central sterile processing, diagnostics, emergency, cardiology and ambulatory surgical staging departments.
The building addition consists of approximately 99,000 sf of new construction and 40,520 sf of major renovation.
The addition will also be structured to accommodate a future 3-story vertical expansion. The planned vertical expansion will house three floors of patient rooms. Additionally, existing 3rd floor space will be renovated to include additional diagnostics space and a renovated public concourse through the 3rd floor including a new pedestrian bridge addition, Good Sam Building 2-story elevator extension, and a Good Sam Building 1st floor lobby renovation.
