Cioppino Restaurant
Massaro Corporation was hired to complete the interior fit-out for Cioppino Seafood - Chophouse - Bar, located at 2350 Railroad Street in Pittsburgh's Strip District. This brick and glass urban building is situated along the railroad tracks toward the Allegheny River, between 23rd and 24th Streets in the Cork Factory.
Three levels of garage parking sits atop the 10,000 square foot seafood and chophouse restaurant. The 160 seat eatery is divided into several areas; the main dining room, the private dining area, and the main bar area in addition to the cigar bar, which features a huge humidor and 13-foot doors. Also included in this chic, new offering is a specialty market that offers prepared foods, their own breads, groceries, chickens and deli goods.
The unique design features intricate woodwork, stained concrete floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, high-end casework and a specialized ventilation system for the cigar bar.
