Emergency Department Renovations
Massaro expanded and renovated the existing 7,500 square foot emergency department by an additional 7,500 square feet. The renovation included a new front entrance and roof top units. Plans to expand the emergency department included renovated existing offices into new nursing stations, trauma, triage, and treatment rooms.
Massaro expanded and renovated the existing 7,500 square foot emergency department by an additional 7,500 square feet. The renovation included a new front entrance and roof top units. Plans to expand the emergency department included renovated existing offices into new nursing stations, trauma, triage, and treatment rooms.
Complexities included three phases of construction with sub phases and heavy equipment. The largest challenge was constructing within the existing 24-hour emergency department, which stayed open throughout the project's entirety. Safety for patients, staff and visitors was our primary concern.
