Massaro 22nd Annual Barnhart Golf Outing

Carol Massaro was diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) in late 2016.  Although there is no cure for ILD, Carol received state-of-the-art care by Dr. Daniel Cass and his team at The Dorothy P. and Richard P. Simmons Center for Interstitial Lung Disease.  Her experience at the Simmons Center was so positive that she requested that we designate the Simmons Center as this year's recipient of the proceeds from this Barnhart Golf Outing.  Please help us honor my mom's wishes by raising as much money as we can for this wonderful community resource.

About the Beneficiary:

The University of Pittsburgh Dorothy P. and Richard P. Simmons Center for Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) at UPMC was opened in 2001 through a generous gift from the Simmons Family to study these lung-scarring diseases.  The Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality healthcare, education and support for its patients, including those with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), as well as for their caregivers and loved ones. Please visit the Center’s website at www.upmc.com/simmonscenter for more information.
